The May 13 meeting will be a panel session to review the SEC's latest guidance on
climate change disclosure, and its practical impact on company filings featuring
attorneys from two leading firms who are active in this area of expertise.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has recently issued interpretive guidance
regarding steps companies must take to disclose business or legal developments regarding climate
change. While the SEC did not issue new regulations as part of the updated guidance, they did
emphasize the previously existing rules in this area. The SEC's guidance highlights several examples of
areas that could trigger disclosure requirements, including:
* The impact of legislation and regulation
* The impact of international accords
* Indirect consequences of regulation or business trends
* Physical impacts of climate change
