Founded in the 1960s, the Cleveland/Northern Ohio Chapter joined NIRI (the National Investor Relations Institute) in 1976. Its primary areas of focus are to:
- Promote the common interests of investor relations professionals
- Foster the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Support the objectives of NIRI
Its primary activity is hosting meetings with guest speakers on a variety of timely and relevant topics. These meetings and other events are designed to encourage networking and enhance the professional development of members.
NIRI members are comprised of individuals employed in a profession related to investor relations and/or corporate communications. As a result of their varied experience, Chapter members provide a valuable resource for each other.
